Junaeb Homes Program:

It consists of the administration of homes that provide shelter to children and/or young people who attend primary and secondary education, originating from communes and/or geographically isolated or difficult to reach localities, where the supply of educational establishments is scarce or existing does not respond to their interests. The program also includes the delivery of food and support in different formation areas.
These homes are not linked to any specific educational establishment, so you can freely choose the school or high school where you want to study.

What are the application requirements?

– Living in isolated sectors (more than 3 km away from the nearest educational institution, which provides level and modality of education that the student requires), so they need to move from their home town to continue studies.
– Be a student between 7th grade of primary or 1st to 4th grade of secondary education, enrolled in subsidized (daytime) educational establishment. In exceptional situations, will be allowed the admission of students under the grade indicated, and must be resolved by the regional selection committee.
– Preferably in a condition of socio-economic vulnerability.

Where should I apply?
Once you join the JUNAEB Homes Program you can continue to finish the Secondary Education, renewing your benefit every year. If you want to be part of the program you can do it by accessing APPLY

 

  • Residencia en sectores rurales o urbanos con reducida oferta educacional, por lo que requieren trasladarse desde su lugar de origen a otro sector para continuar sus estudios.
  • Evaluación Registro Social de Hogares.
  • Ser estudiante de 7° u 8° básico o educación media de establecimientos educacionales reconocidos por el Estado.

  • Certificado de residencia que acredite el domicilio familiar del estudiante indicando claramente la comuna y localidad correspondiente, otorgado por la Dirección de Desarrollo Comunitario del Municipio correspondiente, declaración jurada otorgada ante notario, certificado de comunidades indígenas autorizada por CONADI. certificado otorgado por Junta de Vecinos, autorizada formalmente por medio de acto administrativo para emitir certificados de residencia.
  • Certificado o documento idóneo para acreditar la condición de matriculado o alumno regular.
  • En caso de requerirse el estudiante deberá presentar la cartola del Registro Social de Hogares.
